A deeply beautiful book that captured my imagination as a child. The writing is wonderfully descriptive and the haunting atmosphere of a windswept beach and the little figures of the two young girls running along the marshes filled my romantic visions of true friendship amidst isolation.

It is also filled with many wise words that shaped so many of my childhood thoughts. Your email address will not be published. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
